A meditation on the interconnectedness of holistic medicine traditions

Nadi नाड़ी

The main channels Ida (left channel - blue), Sushumna (central channel), Pingala (right channel - orange), along with smaller channels and the seven chakras comprise the esoteric basis of the Ayurvedic body.

Rtsa

In Tibetan medicine, Dbu-tma (central vein), Ro-ma (right channel), Rkyang-ma (left channel) are the main passages which visible and invisible energy flow in the vajra (physical, mental, and spiritual) body.

Jīng Mài 經脈

Jīng Mài are the main channels of the body’s energetic channel system in Chinese medicine. Pictured here is the Kidney meridian, or Zú Shǎo Yīn Shèn Jīng 足少陰腎經, which flows 1.5 cun bi-laterally from the central CV/Ren/Conception channel, or Rèn Mài 任脈.
